Adult Programs

Adult Learn to Skate - $115

This is a 4-week program for adults who have never skated before or have very limited skating experience. The following skills will be taught: balance, getting up and down, the fundamentals of a stride, stopping, and turning. Note: Participants require skates and a CSA approved helmet.  If you do not have a hockey helmet a bike or ski helmet is acceptable.

October 1st - October 22nd (Tuesdays)

8:30pm: Ages 18+

October 29th - November 19th (Tuesdays)

8:30pm: Ages 18+

Adult Learn to Play Hockey - $135

This 4-week program focuses on basic hockey skills including skating, shooting, stickhandling and passing. Full hockey equipment is required. There is a maximum of 6 players with 1 instructor and each 50-minute sessions ends with a fun scrimmage.

These classes are open to men and women who possess basic skating skills, meaning they can take strides with both feet and have some idea of how to stop or slow down. 

September 4th - September 25th (Wednesdays)

October 2nd - October 23rd (Wednesdays)

9:00pm: Ages 18+

October 30th - November 20th (Wednesdays)

9:00pm: Ages 18+

Adult Shooting & Power Skating - $135

This 4-week program includes shooting and power skating instruction each week. The focus of the shooting portion of this program is mainly wrist shots and slap shots with a focus on technique, accuracy and quick release. The power skating focus is on edge control (inside/outside), forward/backward skating, balance and transitions. There is a maximum of 6 players with 1 instructor and each session is 50 minutes.

The program is open to both men and women who currently play recreational hockey.

September 30th - October 28th (Mondays)

November 4th - November 25th (Mondays)

9:30pm: Ages 18+
