Goaltender Training
The Zone Training goaltender programs are second-to-none in the tri-cities and surrounding areas. We offer private goalie instruction, goaltender fundamental programs for young goalies looking to learn the position along with a goaltender development program for those goalies who are looking to continue improving their skills. At the Zone Training, we have qualified and experienced goaltending instructors who communicate well with each individual goaltender and offer the attention they deserve. The Zone Training runs multiple goaltender programs for various associations including Waterloo Minor Hockey, Waterloo Ravens, Kitchener Girls Minor Hockey, Elora Minor Hockey, Mount Forest Minor Hockey, Grand River Mustangs Girls Hockey and Milverton Minor Hockey to name just a few.

 | This 4 week program consists of 1 hour of ice time each week along with 1 hour of goalie specfic off-ice training and stretching. On the ice goalies will work on skating movements including c-cuts, shuffles, t-pushes, edge work and slides. The last 20 minutes of each session will focus on puck handling. In the gym goalies will work on core strength, balance, agility, coordination, reaction speed along with stretching. Each goalie will receive a copy of our Goalie Specific Stretching routine. There is a maximum of 6 goalies per session. |

| Goaltender Development - $330.00 | |
 | The Zone Training Goaltender Development program teaches modern goaltending techniques in a unique and fun environment. This is an 8 week program that will focus on a wide variety of skills. We offer a 2:1 student to instructor ratio which allows for individual attention at each session. Each session begins with a goalie specific skating warm-up followed by a wide variety of drills that build on the skills learned during each session. The Zone Training does not teach a specific style of goaltending, rather we work with each individual goaltender to help them achieve their goals. |

| Off-Site Goaltender Training - $125.00 | |
 | The majority of Minor Hockey teams do not have access to a full-time goaltending coach. The Zone Training has quality training staff with both playing and coaching experience available to attend your team practices. Give us a call to book us in for your practice to work with your goaltenders and give them the attention they deserve. This rate is per hour and is based on practices taking place in the Kitchener - Waterloo area. We are available to attend out of town practices, however there will be a charge for gas & travel time. |
