Childrens' Programs
The Zone Training offers Learn to Skate & Learn to Play Hockey Programs for children between 3 & 8 years old. The Zone Ice surface, which is 110' x 50' is ideal for teaching young children. The Zone creates a positive and fun atmosphere for children and we have a maximum 3-1 or 4-1 student to instructor ratio for all sessions.
Children get the attention they deserve at The Zone Training and can learn at a much quicker pace than when they are surrounded by large groups often seen at other hockey schools or skating programs. Our programs have been designed by experienced and qualified staff members specifically for each age group.
Our recommended progression is as follows: Learn to Skate (New students), Learn to Skate (Returning), Learn to Play (Beginner), Learn to Play (Advanced), Skills & Scrimmages and then Beginner or Tyke 4 on 4 Leagues. All students develop at a different pace, please contact us to discuss your childs progression or best suited program for their needs.
