Dear Derek,

I wanted to thank you and your team for an excellent job with my PeeWees this season. The new facility is first class. The ice surface was perfect for 12/13 year old boys. We greatly improved our skill, speed and battle level through excellent workouts provided by Troy Stephens. He is a top level instructor.

The fitness and dry-land activities were outstanding. The facility is fully equipped and the boys' fitness levels improved dramatically over the 12 week period. Andrew Hopf did an outstanding job.

We will be back as Minor Bantams in 08/09, thanks again.

The coach has played Matt the last three series/16 games. He picked up 4 shutouts in the last 9 games and keeps getting stronger.

The Zone Training is to be commended for the quality of its programs and training personnel. This is our ten-year old daughter's first year of skating and playing hockey.Admittedly, we were late in getting Rachael started, but Rachael has rapidly improved in leaps and bounds to a point where she hardly looks out of place anymore.I attribute that to the excellent work that Arden and Ashley have done with her in the one-on-one sessions that we booked with your organization.

Our overall experience in dealing with The Zone Training and their personnel has been very positive, and I would not hesitate to recommend their services and programs to anyone at any level of achievement.

The position of goaltender appears to be one that requires the integration of several skills including agility, good body positioning and quick reflexes.Our son, Evan, has found that the Zone program works to further reinforce the skills that are taught in team practices.At the Zone, Evan is encouraged to develop his own style of goaltending as the staff identifies and focuses on his strengths and weaknesses.With these programs Evan has learned to set his own personal training goals.This year Evan had the confidence to try out at the AAA level and since making the team,continues to be motivated to train hard both in team practices and at the weekly Zone sessions.The positive feedback received for his hard work by coaches and Zone trainers has helped his gameplay tremendously.

My son Jaden's experience on the "Zone Training 94" spring hockey team was one he will not soon forget. Going into the program we knew the focus was to stress skill development first and winning second, a new philosophy for a AAA spring program but a refreshing one. And while we were very competitive in the tournaments we entered it was the training sessions that were the most memorable. The training sessions were well laid out with a balance of on and off ice activities. The facility is great with the smaller ice making it easy to focus on skill development in confined areas, an essential skill in developing an elite hockey player. The staff was excellent, competent and knowledgeable with a great mix of both skill and tactical drills as well as loads of correction, a big component I look for to determine the calibre of training. The dryland sessions were a huge hit with the kids as they were challenging with a heavy focus on foot speed, but done in a manner that the kids enjoyed while they worked hard, thanks Andrea! There is no question that the training provided by Derek and his staff was excellent, but the greatest testament to how good the Zone Training staff is, was my 12 year old's feedback which stressed how much he enjoyed all the staff and how positive they were with him. Developing a skilled hockey player is not much use if they don't love the game and Jaden's exposure to their environment left him wanting to return each time. I will definitely be utilizing the Zone Training again in the future to help develop my AAA hockey players. Thanks again Derek and staff.

Just wanted to let you know that Rhett has made the Kitchener Minor Atom AAA team. He really couldn't have done it without your help and teaching. The more I watch young goalies, the more I realize just how many of the fundamentals Rhett has learned while training at The Zone with you and Matt which have given him the opportunity to compete at an advanced level.

Greatly appreciate all your time , patience and attention you have given to Rhett and look forward to continual instruction at The Zone
