Tyke 4 On 4

Our Summer Tyke 4 on 4 Hockey league is 6 weeks in length beginning in mid-July. This program is offered to 2005 & 2006 birth years and it is a more advanced league than the Beginner 4 on 4 league. The program will feature two teams of 9 skaters per team and we will have a goalie rotation unless a full time goalie happens to register. This has been an extremely popular program over the past several years due to the fast paced and exciting hockey with lots of puck touches for players. We supply two staff members who guide and encourage the children during each game. Jerseys are included.

For players born in 2006 & 2007 who have some experience playing hockey

Our Frozen Four Tyke Hockey League is a great supplement for players who already play Tyke hockey because it allows them to improve their skills and have fun in a unique environment. The format is 4-on-4 hockey and all games take place on our smaller scale ice surface.  Each team name in the division represents a Division 1 NCAA college hockey program.

On the smaller ice players touch the puck more often, there are more shots, more goals, and overall more FUN!! We supply goalie equipment and players all get a chance to rotate through the position throughout the season. We will accept a full time goalie if someone is interested. The Zone provides two staff members who will act as referees and coaches throughout the game and provide helpful guidance to all players.

Players should be able to skate, stickhandle, and shoot the puck fairly well for their age to play in this league.
