Learn To Play Hockey - September

Learn to Play Hockey (40 min) - $195

This 8-week comprehensive program emphasizes fun while teaching basic hockey skills and concepts. There is a maximum of 12 players with 3 instructors and each session is 40 minutes.

Level 1 classes are for children who can skate (i.e. take strides with both feet and have some idea of how to turn and stop).  The children in this class learn hockey fundamentals including holding the stick, power skating, shooting, passing, stickhandling and agility drills. Each class begins with a fun warm-up and finishes with a 10 minute game.  Full hockey equipment is required (view list).  Children in our Level 1 Learn to Play Hockey program are typically 4-8 years old. 

Level 2 classes are for children who are competent skaters (i.e. can skate forward while carrying a puck, skate backwards, and stop) and possess basic fundamental hockey skills.  Classes include a combination of skill development and an introduction to the rules of the game, along with some basic team concepts. Full hockey equipment is required (view list). Children in our Level 2 Learn to Play Hockey program are typically 5-9 years old.

september 3rd - october 22nd (Tuesdays)

This 6-week comprehensive program emphasizes fun while teaching basic hockey skills and concepts.
