Ice Rentals in Guelph

The Zone Training is the ideal place to book additional ice to work on your skills, play 3 on 3, host your birthday party or just get out for a skate with family and friends! We're open year-round and you may book online up to 30-days in advance or call us for future booking inquiries.

Weekend Fall/Winter Rate: $195+HST

Weekday Fall/Winter Rates:

Prices listed below are based on a 50 minute rental with a start time that falls within the range of time listed. 

10:30am - 2:30pm: $110+HST **
3:30pm: $165+HST **
4:30pm - 9:30pm: $195+HST
9:30pm - 11:30pm: $165 + HST **

** This rate does not apply on Holidays, PD Days or School Breaks in the Upper Grand District School Board.  The rate is $195+HST on those dates.

Summer Rate: $195+HST

Rules & Regulations:

There is a maximum of 12 participants permitted on the ice including spares, goalies, coaches and parents.

All time-slots are 50 minutes in duration. For example, if your time is scheduled from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, your actual on-ice time will be from 6:30pm to 7:20pm.

Full payment must be provided upon booking. We will not temporarily hold ice time for any period of time. You may only book and secure ice time with full payment.

In the event of a cancellation, refunds will not be granted at any time.  A credit in the amount of the rental fee will be applied to the rental customer's account at The Zone Training. Note: if there is a cancellation less than 48 hours prior to the ice time, there will be no credit granted.

All participants (including adults) must wear an approved CSA helmet and must also wear skates on the ice. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in automatic cancellation of the ice rental without refund.

Full hockey equipment is required for any game participation, pick-up hockey or shinny session. Parents at birthday parties must also wear helmets & skates.

Pucks are supplied and two nets will be provided on the ice.  Use of the score clock is not permitted.

No outside hockey schools, goalie schools or instructors will be permitted to run on-ice practice sessions at The Zone Training without the consent of the management. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in automatic cancellation of the ice rental contract without refund.  Note: Volunteer minor hockey coaches are permitted to rent the ice to work with players on their team.

Figure Skating is not permitted on our ice surface without consent of Management prior to the ice time. Call to discuss options. 

The Zone Training does not accept any responsibility for personal injury or damage, loss or theft of personal items, or for anyone present on the invitation of such Team/Rental Customer/Organization/Party.

The consumption of alcohol and use of tobacco are strictly prohibited at this facility. The use of these items or similar products will result in automatic cancellation of the facility rental without refund.
