Skating Fundamentals + Pucks
Skating Fundamentals + Pucks - $245
This 8-week program is a variation of Learn to Skate with full hockey equipment that includes a small focus on basic hockey skills during each class. The main goal of the program is to help children improve their strides using both feet along with introducing basic stopping and turning.
The last 20 minutes of each class will cover basic hockey skills such as how to hold a stick, puck control and stationary shooting. Full hockey equipment is required.
This program is open to children who are able to stand up after falling without assistance and are starting to stride using both feet. If your child is still walking on the ice or only using one foot to push, they need to register for our Learn to Skate Level 1 program.
There is a maximum of 12 players with 3 instructors and each session is 50 minutes.
Note: To attend this program, your child must be 4 years old by the start date.
If your child does not possess the required skills you will be removed from the program and transferred to an appropriate session.
