PD Day Skill Development Camp

The focus of the PD Day Skill Development camp is to teach players a variety skills including power skating, shooting, stickhandling, passing and puck skills. The day consists of two 1.5-hour on-ice sessions and two 1-hour off-ice activities sessions. During the dryland session, players focus on balance, coordination, agility and quick feet.

 

Our staff is available to assist players with skate tying and other equipment if required, however, we do expect that children can get the majority of their equipment on without assistance.

This camp focuses on a variety of skills including power skating, shooting stickhandling, passing and incorporates all skills into different combination drills. Each day consists of two 1.5 hour ice sessions and two 1 hour off-ice activities sessions. The off-ice training will focus on balance, coordination, agility and quick feet. All players bring a packed lunch and snacks for the day.

 

Our staff is available to assist players with skate tying, helmet fastening and other equipment if required, however we do expect that children can get the majority of their equipment on without assistance.

 

Note: Goaltenders may register at a discounted rate of $355 up to a maximum of 2. There is no formal on-ice goalie instruction provided. Call 519-883-7825 to register as a goalie.
